Message from the President

One family, many generations

Welcome to the official website of the Islamic University Alumni Association. Founded on 22 November 1979 by Shaheed President Ziaur Rahman, Islamic University, Bangladesh, holds a unique place in history as the first university established in independent Bangladesh. Over its long journey, our beloved campus has become a shining beacon of higher education in teaching, research, and tradition.

Today, about 18,000 students pursue knowledge in 41 departments across 9 faculties. As the university has grown, its reputation and achievements have spread around the world. Our greatest pride is our alumni. More than 50,000 graduates have completed their studies here, and today they work in important fields at home and abroad with honesty, dedication, and distinction, bringing honor to the university.

The Alumni Association is more than a place for former students to reunite. It is a strong platform for friendship, professional cooperation, and contributions to the university's overall development. Our main aim is to use our combined strength to guide current students, help them build their careers, and uphold the university's heritage.

Wherever we may be, let us come together, bound by our shared roots, and contribute our talent, effort, and love to the welfare and progress of our beloved campus. Your active participation and support will make this association more dynamic and prosperous. I wish you all good health, long life, and success. Thank you.
