Privacy policy

What we collect

What you give us when you register: name, email, mobile number, department, session, student ID, occupation and location, an optional photo and bio; and payment details (amount, method, transaction ID, optional screenshot). We never ask for your bKash/bank PIN or password.

Why we use it

To manage and verify memberships, send receipts and renewal reminders, invite you to events, and — only if you allow it — show you in the members-only directory.

Who can see it

Only verified members can open the alumni directory, and your email and phone stay hidden unless you choose to show them. Payment details are seen only by the treasurer and authorised officers. We never sell your data.

Storage and security

Data travels over encrypted connections (HTTPS) and is stored on secure cloud servers; passwords are stored in a form no one can read. Backups are taken every day.

Your rights

You can correct your profile and change your privacy settings at any time. Contact the office for a copy of your data or to delete your account; payment records may be kept where required for accounts or by law.
